Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions and complex corporate restructuring initiatives
- Develop and implement global compliance frameworks across 15 jurisdictions
- Advise C-suite executives on SEC reporting and governance best practices
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships
- Oversee intellectual property portfolio management and IP protection strategies
- Drive diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives within legal operations
- Lead board governance committee preparations and reporting
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor with 8+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier firms
- Texas Bar admission with active license in good standing
- Proven expertise in SEC regulations and public company compliance
- Experience leading cross-border M&A transactions exceeding $500M
- Advanced proficiency in contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., DocuSign CLM)
- Strong background in technology sector IP protection strategies
- Excellent negotiation skills with documented multi-million dollar deal closures
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced regulatory environments
