Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of 5+ accounting professionals
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and workflows
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required, MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate environments
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience managing teams and developing talent
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience in financial services or corporate finance sector
