Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Manage internal controls and SOX compliance programs
- Direct financial analysis for M&A activities and capital allocation decisions
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Mentor finance team members and develop departmental KPIs
- Drive process optimization and digital transformation in financial systems
Qualifications
- CPA certification required (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ in corporate leadership
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multinational financial operations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Proven track record in M&A financial due diligence integration
- Strong strategic planning and cross-functional leadership abilities
- Tampa Bay market experience highly desirable
