Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations
- Collaborate with department heads on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory requirements
- Manage and mentor the accounting team to foster professional growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to C-suite executives
- Experience in corporate finance or public accounting firm environment
