Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Manage SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Serve as primary liaison to external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Optimize financial processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and develop department KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in accounting operations
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with 8+ years corporate accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling expertise
- SOX compliance and internal controls background
- ERP system proficiency (SAP or Oracle)
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Big Four or corporate finance controller experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in urgent, high-pressure environments
