Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations for executive decision-making
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and technology scouts
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for emerging tech domains (Web4, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced analytical methodologies and storytelling techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, decentralized systems)
- Exceptional proficiency in scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into executive-level narratives
- Published research in foresight journals or thought leadership platforms
- Experience leading global research teams across 3+ continents
- Portfolio showcasing 5+ successful future strategy implementations
