Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively to mitigate project risks.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and roadblocks clearly to executive leadership.
- Drive process improvements and best practices across the project management office (PMO).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the IT or Software industry.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in Austin or a major metropolitan area.
- PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation.
