The Role:
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements. You will play a pivotal role in defining system capabilities and ensuring our solutions align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops to identify business needs, processes, and functional requirements.
- Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and end-users to ensure clear communication.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios and ensure delivered solutions meet quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users regarding new systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business terms.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Tools: Experience with business process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart) is a plus.
