Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Present strategic futures to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and thought leaders
- Author forward-looking white papers and scenario-planning frameworks
- Mentor junior team members in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, neurotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical audiences
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
