Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for software development and process improvement initiatives.
- Process Modeling: Create detailed process flows, use case diagrams, and wireframes using tools like Visio or Lucidchart to visualize business operations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of project status and deliverables.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional requirements specifications (FRS), user stories, and technical specifications.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test cases, execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
