In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for uncovering business needs, documenting requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects.
What You Will Do:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Translate complex business needs into functional technical specifications.
- Develop comprehensive process maps, user stories, and use cases using industry-standard tools.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired future states.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams during the testing and implementation phases.
- Monitor project KPIs and provide regular performance reports to leadership.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong command of SQL and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Reliable transportation for client site visits within the Nashville metropolitan area.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough business analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Design and maintain process models, flowcharts, and wireframes.
- Translate technical requirements into clear, concise documentation for development teams.
- Perform data analysis to support strategic decision-making and forecasting.
- Conduct gap analysis and assist in the testing and UAT phases of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role (1-3 years preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to travel to client sites in the Nashville metro area.
