Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the IT department, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Data Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including user stories, process maps, wireframes, and functional specifications using standard tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Agile Support: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Testing & Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions). Experience with data modeling tools and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with requirement management tools such as JIRA, MS Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and propose creative solutions to business challenges.
