Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements for software development projects.
- Process Mapping: Create comprehensive process maps, use cases, and user stories to visualize current and future state business processes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Agile Facilitation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Product) in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure project delivery aligns with business goals.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and Functional Specifications.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current systems and proposed solutions to recommend technical adaptations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the technology or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and at least one modeling tool (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of identifying root causes of business problems and proposing effective solutions.
