Job Overview:
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. You will play a pivotal role in driving project success and ensuring our solutions deliver real business value.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business requirements.
- Process Modeling: Create and maintain process maps, flowcharts, and use case diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and areas for operational improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure clear communication.
- Documentation: Write comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and system requirements documents (SRD).
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate solution acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and at least one requirements management tool (JIRA, Confluence).
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
