Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for complex software solutions.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and wireframes using Visio or similar tools to visualize current and future state processes.
- Agile Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Development teams to prioritize Backlog items, write User Stories, and facilitate Sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data trends and metrics to identify process inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions for optimization.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents.
- Change Management: Act as a liaison to communicate project status, risks, and requirements to all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP); experience with JIRA or Confluence is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
