Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into clear functional specifications.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business workflows during weekend operations to identify bottlenecks and recommend process optimization strategies.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights, generating reports that drive decision-making for executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and non-technical business units, ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including use cases, process maps, and user stories.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure deliverables meet quality standards before go-live.
- Weekend Operations Support: Provide specialized analytical support during weekend shifts to ensure business continuity and data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced/Power Query), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience working within a Scrum environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Tools: Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
