Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology roadmap focusing on 2026-era innovations
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neurotech) and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with venture partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI/automation deployment and responsible innovation
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive policy advocacy for future-forward regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Track record of launching products with $50M+ market impact
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or international research consortia
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience scaling technology teams from 10 to 100+ engineers
