Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological trends, market shifts, and societal changes to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing solutions
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenarios for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight findings into R&D roadmaps and product lifecycles
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author annual 'Future Horizons' reports influencing company-wide strategic decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation projects
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi method, system dynamics)
