We are seeking a driven Junior Business Analyst to join our team in Denver. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals eager to launch their career in data analysis and process improvement. In this role, you will support our senior analysts in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and analyzing data to drive decision-making. You will have the chance to work on real projects that impact our business operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts in gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create process maps, flowcharts, and user stories to support project deliverables.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and take accurate meeting minutes.
- Support the quality assurance (QA) process by documenting test scenarios.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to learn new software tools and technical concepts quickly.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional but preferred for on-site work).
