As a Junior Business Analyst, you will support our senior analysts in gathering requirements, analyzing data, and helping to drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior analysts to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements and user stories.
- Assist in the design and creation of process maps, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Conduct basic data analysis using SQL and Excel to support reporting and identify trends.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Monitor project progress and assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify potential risks and issues within business processes and propose solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, charts).
- Basic understanding of SQL or data analysis concepts is a plus but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn new tools and methodologies quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
