- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and cloud systems during night shifts
- Execute scheduled system maintenance, updates, and security patches
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues with minimal disruption
- Document incident reports, system logs, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless handovers and knowledge transfer
- Implement backup/recovery protocols and disaster response procedures
- Optimize system performance and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on IT operations or system administration experience
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security best practices, and virtualization
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work occasional overtime during critical incidents
