Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise systems during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Proactively troubleshoot server, network, and security incidents
- Execute system backups, patch deployments, and infrastructure updates
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to global employees via remote channels
- Document incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless handovers and continuity
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in enterprise IT operations or infrastructure support
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours
