Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and cloud systems during night shift hours
- Execute proactive system patches, updates, and security protocols across hybrid environments
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex hardware/software issues requiring advanced troubleshooting
- Document incident reports, system logs, and operational procedures in compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Collaborate with global teams during handover periods for seamless 24/7 operations
- Implement automation scripts to optimize system performance and reduce manual interventions
- Lead disaster recovery drills and system maintenance windows during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of enterprise IT operations experience with night shift or on-call rotation
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and security protocols
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
