Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and data to identify improvement opportunities
- Document requirements for system enhancements and new features
- Create detailed reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, and BI tools
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Validate data integrity and recommend process optimization strategies
- Support implementation of new systems and change management initiatives
- Track KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of business analysis experience with part-time or project work
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI/Tableau)
- Strong documentation skills with experience creating BRDs and user stories
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity
- San Diego-based candidates preferred for occasional in-person collaboration
