Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a proactive individual who can translate business needs into actionable technical specifications. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Conducting in-depth requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business goals.
- Analyzing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization strategies.
- Creating detailed user stories, process flows, and wireframes using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT and Operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
- Performing data analysis to support strategic decision-making and reporting.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in business analysis principles and excellent communication skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to the Boston, MA area.
