Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery within constraints.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to all stakeholders via reports and meetings.
- Mentor junior project managers and facilitate cross-functional team collaboration.
- Manage the project budget and ensure financial accountability throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT or Technology sector.
- PMP, CAPM, or Prince2 certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing projects of $500k+ budget or similar scope.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence diverse teams.
- San Diego-based candidates preferred due to the on-site requirements.
