Role Overview
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of weekend sprints and release cycles. This position requires a unique blend of technical leadership and interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments without the distractions of the standard Monday-Friday grind.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for weekend deployments, ensuring milestones are met with precision.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Product) to align on sprint goals and deliverables.
- Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies for off-hour operations.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing clear, concise, and timely status updates on weekends.
- Ensure all project artifacts and documentation adhere to company standards and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement within the weekend squad.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a software or technical environment.
- PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum Master certification is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading projects with tight deadlines and limited supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Must be willing and available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
