Responsibilities
- Lead Project Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning tasks and resources efficiently to optimize productivity and meet deadlines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and develop proactive mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to clients and executives, maintaining transparency and managing expectations effectively.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring costs remain within approved limits.
- Agile & Waterfall: Adapt methodologies (Agile/Scrum or Waterfall) to suit the specific needs of each project.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within the IT, Software, or Engineering sectors.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to San Antonio, TX.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
