Responsibilities
- Lead and Direct: Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring they align with business goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, managing expectations and communicating effectively.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient workflow.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks early and develop strategies to minimize their impact on project success.
- Team Leadership: Mentor project coordinators and team members, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Agile Methodology: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Project Management or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (PMP or CAPM certification is a plus).
- San Diego Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Diego, CA.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Tools: Proficiency in project management software such as JIRA, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
