Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems in cloud environments
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for next-gen security frameworks
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for machine learning optimization challenges
- Establish quantum network protocols for distributed quantum computing ecosystems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
