Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit functional/non-functional requirements
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Design and implement process improvements using BPMN and workflow modeling tools
- Develop comprehensive documentation including BRDs, user acceptance criteria, and test cases
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and maintain JIRA backlogs
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in tech or financial services
- Expert proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools (ER/Studio, Lucidchart), and BI platforms
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proven track record of documenting complex requirements for enterprise systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR) highly valued
