Responsibilities
- Ticket Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for internal stakeholders with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance to prevent downtime during the night.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, patch management, and security updates on workstations and servers.
- Documentation: Maintain a detailed Knowledge Base (Wiki) documenting technical resolutions and processes for the day-shift team.
- Access Management: Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within Active Directory.
- Hardware Support: Oversee the repair and deployment of laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the day-shift engineering team to escalate critical issues and hand over ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
