Responsibilities
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Direct the efforts of diverse teams including engineering, design, and business operations to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Own the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders and government clients, providing clear, concise, and accurate status reports.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure resource allocation is optimized to maximize ROI.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent scope creep and delays.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine project management processes and tools to enhance team efficiency and project delivery speed.
Qualifications
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the federal government or defense sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of project management software (Jira, MS Project, Asana) and collaboration tools (Slack, Microsoft Teams).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing regulatory environment.
