The Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage project planning activities, including scope, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, clients, and executive stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Monitor project performance using Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure milestones are met.
- Lead root cause analysis for project delays and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within the Federal Government or IT consulting sector.
- Proven experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in project management software (Jira, MS Project, Asana).
