Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for weekend initiatives, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with weekend operations to minimize downtime.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and blockers to senior leadership and stakeholders effectively.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation charts.
- Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
- Mentor junior project managers and support team capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience, preferably in a corporate or government contracting environment.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Monday.com).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively during non-standard hours (Weekend Shift).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
