Responsibilities
- Lead Weekend Sprints: Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of all project phases specifically scheduled for the weekend to minimize downtime for business operations.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with engineering, design, and QA teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure all deliverables are met on time.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential blockers early in the weekend cycle and implement proactive solutions to keep the project on track.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and concise status reports to senior leadership and clients, highlighting key achievements and risks.
- Process Improvement: Analyze weekend workflow efficiency and propose process enhancements to maximize team productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables adhere to the highest standards of quality and compliance before deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in project management, specifically within the IT or software development industry.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a rotational basis.
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Tools: Proficient in Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar project management tools.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of resolving conflicts and overcoming obstacles.
