Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define clear business objectives and functional specifications.
- Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and user stories for development teams.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired future states.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, data models, and user manuals.
- Utilize data analysis tools to interpret metrics and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Facilitate effective communication between non-technical staff and technical developers.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project implementation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a related capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Must be willing to work in a hybrid or on-site model in Philadelphia, PA.
