Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit detailed business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
- Process Modeling: Create and maintain current and future state process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to visualize business workflows.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that drive business decision-making.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality user stories, use cases, and technical documentation that serves as the blueprint for development teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Testing & QA Support: Collaborate with QA teams to design test scenarios and validate that solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the technology or software industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of identifying root causes of business problems and proposing effective, scalable solutions.
