Responsibilities
- Elicit and Document Requirements: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Process Mapping: Create and maintain current and future-state process maps, flowcharts, and use case diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analyses between current business processes and proposed solutions to recommend best practices.
- Documentation: Author and maintain project documentation, including requirements traceability matrices and user stories.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a full-time capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and experience with JIRA or Confluence for documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to deconstruct complex problems into manageable components.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
