Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and cloud systems during night shift hours
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues across global platforms
- Execute scheduled system maintenance, updates, and security patches
- Document incidents, changes, and knowledge base articles for cross-team alignment
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless handover and continuity
- Implement automation scripts to optimize system reliability
- Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide tier-3 support escalation for complex technical challenges
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure support with night shift experience
- Expertise in Windows Server, VMware, and AWS/Azure environments
- CompTIA Security+ and/or CCNP certification required
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix)
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure
