Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and design efficient business workflows and system architectures.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current business processes and proposed solutions to recommend necessary changes.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive business requirements documents (BRD), use cases, and functional specifications.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact, facilitating communication between developers, designers, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Testing & QA Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios and validate that deliverables meet business requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with requirements management tools like JIRA or Confluence is highly preferred.
