Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and wireframes to visualize current and future state processes.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the IT development team to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, execute user acceptance testing (UAT), and facilitate the go-live process.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the IT or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and at least one modeling tool (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Balsamiq).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex business problems and driving process improvements.
