Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct in-depth data analysis using SQL and visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement streamlined business processes and workflow automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops, create user stories, and manage expectations to ensure successful project delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system requirements, functional specifications, and test plans throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure solutions meet quality standards and user needs through rigorous testing phases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking with a proven track record of identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
- Travel: Ability to travel to client sites or offices within the Baltimore metro area as needed.
