Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories for the development team.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current state and future state processes to ensure seamless implementation of new systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Testing & Validation: Collaborate with QA and development teams to validate solutions and ensure business requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a full-time capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and at least one requirements management tool (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of identifying root causes of business problems and proposing effective solutions.
