Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and documentation analysis to define project scope.
- Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to ensure deliverables align with business goals.
- Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Confluence.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate go-live activities to ensure a seamless transition.
- Monitor project metrics and produce regular status reports to stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and blockers.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends to provide strategic recommendations for technology investments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial or technology sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and root cause analysis.
