Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements analysis to capture business needs, pain points, and functional requirements.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
- Documentation: Create detailed business requirements documents (BRD), user stories, process maps, and functional specifications for development teams.
- Communication: Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a mutual understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Testing & Validation: Collaborate with QA and development teams to validate solutions against requirements and conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Data Analysis: Utilize data to support business cases, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the technology or financial services sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP). Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Experience working within Scrum frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
